I’m so glad that I use neither Windows nor do I support copy-protected CDs. Nowadays want to listen to music also must install software and expose your computer to security exploits.. I wonder if the costs of developing such anti-piracy measures and subsequently recalling millions of discs and defending the barrage of lawsuits to come is worth the effort to curb piracy.

its always nice to go the open source way
The development of the anti-piracy technology is just another means of creating ricebowls for more people. For all you know, perhaps those who are behind the copy-right technologies are the ones reproducing the cheaper goods. This way, they earn from both sides and the job never ceases. Left hand folding the paper and the right hand unfolding.
