Parking Ticket

I received the first parking ticket of my life and got utterly screwed by my dad. So much for trying to help him save on the coupons. If only I knew that the coupons were provided by his company I would not have save a single cent on it. Anyway, the payment was rather interesting. Here’s an excerpt:

Notice No. GXXXXXXXV Vehicle No. SGAXXXXU Amount Fine $30 Date of Offence 27/12/2005 Issued By HDB (duh)

They are apparently making use of the eNets service for online payments, which is not too unexpected. I wonder if eNets levy a commission on our gahmen though. The icing on the cake was this, after the payment was made:

We are now preparing your payment acknowledgement. Please wait … The processing would not take more than 3 minutes. Have a nice day!

I think eNets need to buck up on their sensitivity to their customers.

i think the messge is almost the same for all types of transactions regardless of…their nature.

I recall thanking the TP when i was given 9 demerit points in my first year of driving. Leaving the place of “accident” i was amused at how dumb i’ve acted. Seriously shivering in my pants. damit.
