About

Currently, I make apps for the iPhone, iPad and the Mac.

My first app, and also the app that kickstarted my accidental career as an app developer, is Due. It has been crucial in keeping my dog fed, among other things. If Due hadn’t work out for me, I’d not have gone on to make Dispatch, a collaboration with my buddy Hon Cheng.

But I wasn’t always that geeky.

Before that, I co-founded Phocus, where we conduct photography courses and classes in Singapore.

But I wasn’t always that entrepreneurial.

Before that, I studied at the Wee Kim Wee School of Communication & Information at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) to be a journalist.

But I got cold feet one day after learning that journalists work hours that are too long for comfort.

I did everything I could to not be a journalist, like setting up a photography school and making apps.

And that, is why I make apps today.
